Mira Inventory is a paid software service for small businesses in India, operated by the MiraCMO family. Our business model is simple: you pay a subscription, we keep your stock books. We do not sell data, run advertising, or monetise your information in any other way.
What we collect
- Account details — your email address, business name, and a password (stored only as a salted hash, never in plain text).
- Inventory data — the items, recipes, entries, counts and rules you create while using the service.
- Photos you upload — daily sheets and invoices you submit for reading.
- Usage records — AI turns used and wallet transactions, so we can meter usage and show you every debit.
We do not collect card or bank details — no payment instrument is required to start, and current top-ups happen by bank transfer or UPI outside the app.
How your data is stored
- Per-tenant isolation. Every business gets its own separate database and file storage. Your data is never mixed with another customer's.
- Backups. Your data is backed up automatically so an infrastructure failure doesn't cost you your books.
- Access. Only you (via your login) and, when needed for support, our operations team can access your tenant's data.
AI processing
The assistant is powered by a third-party AI model provider. The photos and text you submit are sent to that provider solely to produce the assistant's response — reading your sheet, staging your cards, answering your questions. We use commercial API access under terms that do not permit the provider to use your content to train their models.
Emails we send
Transactional only: your nightly stock report, account verification, count nudges, and service notices. We don't send marketing emails to customers without asking first.
Retention and deletion
Your data stays as long as your account does. On cancellation you can request a full export of your data, and you can request deletion at any time — we remove your tenant database and uploads, keeping only the minimal billing records the law requires us to retain.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will email account holders before the change takes effect.
